What it actually does

Curves that cross each other read as a tangle rather than as separate strands. Hair, fibres, wires, cables, stitched lines, a grid of rows and columns — the geometry is right, and it still looks like a mess.

Deoverlap Polylines finds every crossing and pushes the two curves apart there. What makes it more than a blunt displacement is the middle step: it decides which one goes over and which goes under, and by default that alternates — so a lattice comes out genuinely woven. The push is computed along the axis that actually separates the two curves at that point, and it eases off along the curve rather than stepping.

It is one measured push, not a solver: there is no iteration, and where crossings sit close together the gap is deliberately smaller — which is exactly what makes a woven grid undulate instead of stepping. Free, and it ships unlocked.
