What it actually does
The settings that define a FLIP simulation live on three different nodes β Particle Separation and Grid Scale on the FLIP Object, substeps, CFL and the volume limits on the FLIP Solver, Time Scale and the cache on the DOP Network itself. Every tuning pass means diving into all three.
This gathers them onto one panel. Point it at your DOP Network and press Connect Parameters: it finds the FLIP nodes by node type, not by name, writes channel references onto them, and reports each one. Unlink reverses exactly that, freezing each target where it stands. It also builds and draws the sim container, so one node defines both the volume and the settings.
Built for the tuning pass β the twentieth time you go hunting for Grid Scale on a shot that is nearly working. Itβs free, and Unlink puts everything back, so there is nothing to lose by trying it.
